Day 4 MAE CHAN – MAE SAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE – CHIANG MAI (B/L/D)
North Thailand is famous for its colorful hill tribes and this morning, we will visit Hill tribe Village in Mae Chan, where the people continue to their fascinating Traditional costumes and follow a very simple way of Village Life
We will then drive to Mae Sai, Thailand’s northernmost town near the Burma Border, You can watch Thai and Burmese locals walking across the Bridge separating the two countries. There are excellent opportunities to buy Burmese Handicraft at reasonable prices. From Mae Sai, we will drive to the heart to the Renowned Golden Triangle where the Ruak and Mekong River meet. You can stand on a hilltop and enjoy views over Burma, Laos, Thailand and the mighty Mekhong River
An optional boat trip will be available for those who want to get closer to Laos and Burma. Visit Chiang Saen, where evidence of the original 13th Century city can still be seen. We will enjoy this lovely setting on the banks of the Mekong River, a tranquil spot with charming old temples and finely carved figures. Depart Chiang Rai for Chiang Mai. You will drive through Splendid Mountain scenery and tropical jungle to the “Rose of the North” Chiang Mai

Day 5 CHIANG MAI– Mae Hong Sorn – Chiang Mai (B/L/D)

Transfer to Chiang Mai airport for flight to Mae Hong Sorn by TG194, departure at 10.10 hrs
10.45 hrs, arrive Mae Hong Sorn and visit the Burmese style temples Wat Jong Kham and Wat Jong-Klang. Afterwards drive uphill to visit Wat Phra That Doi Kong Moo from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountains surrounding Mae Hong Sorn

After lunch visit long necked tribe at Baan Nai Soi by 4wd drive or truck. Long necked tribe (Giraffe women) women are wearing numerous brass rings around their elongated necks, an extraordinary sight. Then drive by truck down to Sop Soi and take long tail speed boats for one-hour trip from the hanging bridge down Pai river to Ban Huay Dua. arrive at Mae Hong Sorn resort boat landing and transfer by truck to Mae Hong Sorn Airport for evening flight back to Chiang Mai

In the afternoon you will visit the District of Sankampaeng , home to Chiang Mai’s Famous Cottage industries. Which how artisans continue make their products by hand and you will of course have the opportunity to hunt for the perfect souvenir
Tonight will be treated to the ceremonial North Thai dinner know as Kantoke. Traditional dishes will be served while you watch elegant Dancers Performing a series of Folk stories. Colorfully dressed, Hill tribes will perform their own traditional dances after dinner
